Hehe, no, but good guess! Solo is after Napoleon Solo from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. (she's a girl but I was planning on getting a male cat and had already chosen the name so it stuck ;) ), and Doyle after Ray Doyle from The Professionals (he looked just like a cat version of him when he was kitten *g*). :D

Our dogs are the most beautiful mutts ever--part Border Collie, part Australian Cattle Dog, part Labrador Retriever, part Basenji. They are fast as the wind, and twice as noisy. :D
Hehe, yeah, I've always named pets after tv/film/book characters for some reason. It started way back with my rabbit when I was in preschool and I just never chose other names. :P
Aw, they sound adorable!!! :D I love big dogs like that, my most beloved dog ever was a collie mix.
