My introduction to Jane Austen: My memory is a little fuzzy, but I think it was because my Mom mentioned that I might like the A&E miniseries of Pride and Prejudice. Naturally, she was right! After that, I gobbled up other adaptions, and then the books. It's all a haze to look back on.

Fun fact about my Janeite life: I've never really taken to the word "Janeite." I feel like that is a word for a descendant or something. But I can't think of any term that works better, so Janeite will do. :)

1. What is your favorite book adaptation of all time?
Oh my goodness, that's a tough one! If I absolutely have to choose, it's the 1995 Pride and Prejudice mini-series. Basically, I want every. single. one. of Jane Austen's books to be adapted in something that lengthy. Especially Mansfield Park, because I feel somebody needs to adapt it in way to show haters just how strong Fanny Price is, even if they do think she's only a mouse.

2. If you could have any fictional character for a brother/sister, who would it be?
Brother: probably Laurie from Little Women. That would be so much fun! Sister: Elinor Dashwood. I could always depend on her. :)

3. Which fandom inspired you to make your very first icons?
I think my very first icons, which I never posted and probably have deleted by now, were Pride and Prejudice and Lord of the Rings.

4. Summer days or winter nights?
WINTER NIGHTS!!!

5. What do you think heaven/afterlife is like?
I'm Christian, so I definitely believe we go before God and learn whether we're written in His Book of Life after we die. But after that, I'm not sure if we just rocket straight to heaven, since technically, as far as I know, the Bible never says, "And as soon as the elect die, they soar up into the heavens to abide there forever." It does talk about the kingdom Jesus establishes on earth after He comes back again, and also that we'll glorify Him eternally. So, long story short, I think when He comes back again, He'll restore our bodies to the glory we were intended to display before the Fall, and then we'll abide under His rule here on earth. But until then, I'm not entirely certain. I'll just trust on faith. (Sorry for long answer. ^^)

Dark brown. Brunette all the way! I'd only bleach it if my life suddenly became just like a Jason Bourne movie. XD

Laura Ingalls Wilder. Now, I want to be Jane Austen. XD

04. What was the last movie you've watched in the theatre?
Priest, just two days ago. That movie had so much wasted potential, I want to write fanfiction to fill in all the gaps! LOL.

Background noise from my large and crazy family. :D

06. What's your favorite guilty pleasure treat?
Rocky road ice cream, donuts with chocolate frosting and sprinkles, brownies, cherry pie, and caramel-dipped apple slices--ALL AT ONCE.

07. What are you thinking about right now?
Whether I should try to make some brownies now or later.

FOOD.

09. Dog person or cat person?
Probably dogs. I love cats, too, but I have a family member who's allergic to them. :(

10. If you came across £2000 (or other currency) would you keep it or turn it in?
I'd turn it in, if I could make sure that it got back to its true owner. If not, I'd donate it to charity or save it to help a younger sibling through college when the time comes.

11. What was the last thing you bought?
Cosmetics with a coupon.

12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
England, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, and Japan. One by one by one. :)

13. Where do you see yourself in 5 minutes?
In front of the dishwasher, because I forgot about the dishes this morning. LOL.

14. What book are you currently reading?
The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. So far, she's the most novelist-y novelist I've read. XD

15. What are you doing this weekend?
Probably trying to motivate myself to work on my book so I can get it ready for submitting queries.

16. If you could play any musical instrument, which one would you play?
I can play very, very, very basic piano, but I'd love to master it someday, along with violin, guitar, flute, and harp.

17. A quote that you like.
Brother and sister? No, indeed. -Mr. Knightley, Emma.

18. What are you doing tomorrow?
Probably going to watch MI-5 and Middlemarch back-to-back with my Mom. :D

19. What was your favourite childhood activity?
Making up even more stories about Laura Ingalls Wilder and her family, because the books weren't enough for me. That's a good background for an aspiring novelist to have, right? ;)
