I am a huge fan of the horrifically awesome TV show "Hannibal." *ducks pitchforks* Have been so ever since a tumblr friend spammed GIFs, and I realized that Mads Mikkelsen (AKA, one of my mom's fave actors) plays the famed cannibal.

I have a lot of thoughts on the subject, but while working through the comments in Cleolinda's hysterical recap series, all I can think of is this thread. BRB, I'm just going to go flail for a few solid hours.

Well, technically, I was BORN on the Dark Side. XD It's surprising just how much it's spread all over Tumblr, isn't it? I thought the only people who would like it are the kind that like Criminal Minds and The Following and stuff like that (like me). Apparently not. O.O

Haha, then you are just staying true to your roots! ;) It really is. It's not my cup of tea at all, so I've been rather surprised at how many people don't just like it, but ADORE it. And therefore, can't stop posting about it... *sigh*

LOL, it seems non-Hannibal fans see it on their dash the most. I actually don't see a lot of Hannibal on mine--most of the people I follow are into other stuff.

I liked Mads Mikkelson in King Arthur. I'm a bit too squeamish for Hannibal, though. :o

Yes, he plays Tristan! He's wonderful in it and it's an absolutely gorgeous film...also the soundtrack is stunning. I love it to pieces.

Hugh Dancy (sp?) is also in Hannibal. I think there's quite a few period pieces that he's in that I haven't seen as well. :)

I couldn't watch it in a million years -- but I read Cleo's recaps faithfully, so I know all about it! Such is the age of the Internet. :-) I can't help reading them -- she's just so darned funny. And it's easier to read about some of those things than to see them, somehow.

I know, I saw you commenting there, and I nearly flipped! :D It is great that you can find a way to enjoy the show without having to watch the difficult parts. And, yes, it's much easier to read something than to be forced to put up with icky flaunted in your face the provided images .
